Good Morning. Work has been a Bear this week. HA! Get it? Bear! (I work for a Securities Firm.) Anywho, yesterday was crazy, and today will probably be also. According to what I'm seeing w/the stocks we follow, looks like all this cost-cutting is having an impact. Several of the reports yesterday showed positive numbers and upside surprise.

Well, anyway....

Bekah is learning to read words with 2 vowels in them. If she can remember the rule, she does very well, but I'm still having to remind her a bunch. "One vowel word, soft sound, two vowel word, long sound." I don't remember ever learning that, so it's been kind of a neet discovery for me. I think I read the words based upon sight and familiarization. I can read faster than I can talk, and find that sometimes I've skimmed over a whole sentence when it doesn't hold any real information or significance.

Well, we're having family night at our house this weekend. We got the wallpaper and border up in the kitchen and DH bought 10 small Thomas Kinkade prints and payed an exhorbent amount of $$ to have them professionally framed. My house looks like a Kinkade gallery....well, if the gallerys all had the small cheap stuff.

OH MY GOSH! Look at the time!
