2001-12-27 - 9:24 p.m. - Natalie's Birthday

Natalie's birthday is Saturday. We're not really planning on doing anything big. I'd like to have the family over for dinner or something. Grammy is keeping Bekah this week while she is out of school. They are planning on making a cake tomorrow.

We got the girls the Candyland Computer game. Both of them really love it. Natalie amazed me tonight with her understanding of what to do, and her hand-eye coordination of manipulating the mouse was amazing. She had no difficulty getting it to go where she wanted to go. She is still clicking both mouse buttons and using 3 or 4 fingers, but her hands are small, and she is figuring it out pretty quickly.

To all of you who sent Christmas cards to us, I got them, thanks. We just didn't get any out this year. Not even an e-card. I feel like such a slacker.

We're having a fondue pot-luck party on New Year's day. If you are in the area and have a pot, feel free to bring it, along with your favorite dipping items and join in the fun. E-mail me for details.

We had a maid-service come in on Wednesday to clean the house. It was nice to get some of those things cleaned that I haven't touched since we moved in. DH is not sure that it was worth the $$.
