2001-11-14 - 8:50 p.m. - Thanksgiving plans

Well, this week is going just as fast as the last several have been. Hard to believe Thanksgiving is a week away. We're doing Thanksgiving here this year. Actually, it will be at my MIL's house. But we're not driving 6 hours to LA to see people who won't miss us.

My siblings and thier respective families/others, are all supposed to show up. Our parents decided to still make the trek. I guess, since it's dad's parents, and they are in their 80's, it's only right that he go see them when he gets a chance.

I think I'm going to be able to avoid DH's grandmother. She and I got crossways, and I just don't think I could be respectful of her if I had to spend all day with her yet.

Rebekah started calling me "girl" yesterday. Amazing how sassy she can be. Also, she has started mentioning that the kids at school are picking on her for being so much bigger than them. I think it really bothers her. I have no idea how to handle it.

Work is less and less enjoyable. Sure hope that I can turn this Pampered Chef business into a working thing.
