2001-10-26 - 7:50 p.m. - Longer update

WHEW! What a week! It has really been a blur. I was driving to work this morning and thinking over the day's activities and wishing it was Friday.....it was. :) I was still stuck on it being Wednesday or Thursday! LOL!

We got a note from Rebekah's teacher saying that while her behavior is still an issue in class, her abilities academically are not in question. The note also told us what we already knew...what Rebekah wants to remember, she never forgets. Rebekah knows about 3 or 4 scripture verses. She is learning one for each letter of the alphabet. I need to work with her on the "J" one, but she has "I" down pat.

Natalie is back to biting. I knew it was only a matter of time before her true personality came out. :( Too bad, though. I was enjoying the sweet and caring Natalie.

The house is slowly progressing. I just finished hanging mini-blinds in one window in the front room. There were roller-blinds before, but the last time we rolled them up, they fell down. I'd let it sit un-covered for a while, but I've got this thing about being afraid of voyers. I didn't like walking around in my jammies at night. As it currently stands, one window in our bed-room still has a sheet over it. The blinds DH bought to put in our windows are very hard to hang, and since we are wanting to paint the room, I didn't want to hang them twice. It was too hard getting the first ones up.

I'm hoping to go see my sister tomorrow. She tells me that Seth is a perfect Angel and they are all adjusting to being home. God is truly working in that little fella's life. He has had a miraculous recovery.
