2001-08-30 - 9:33 p.m. - We got over an inch of rain today!

Today, the issue is that the buyer doesn't have the appraisal done yet, and they have until Saturday.

Natalie has started memorizing some of the stories. When I miss a word, she tells me the word that I missed. I didn't realize that she was that far along in her reasoning. She's done it several times this week. It took me by surprise the first time, but I recognized it instantly tonight.

We went to Golden Corral tonight for dinner, and Rebekah was self-sufficient. She filled her plate up without help, and carried it back to the table, twice. Then she took care of her ice cream as well. DH and I were both impressed. Shows she can do it. Now it will be a matter of forcing her to continue to do it. Even when she wants to be babied.

Well, I'm tired. The Cowboys are winning, and I'm going to bed.
