It’s raining here!!!!

I am SO grateful. I’ve noticed that this summer hasn’t been as hot (no 104 days), and it’s raining in August, and expected to continue through the weekend! I’m just so excited by that! It’s a Godsend, as our water bill was starting to grow slower than our grass.

Also, I guess now is a good time to run by the new house and see how much it floods, if any, and how much mud there is. Also, if the roof leaks anywhere.

The girls are staying with Grammy tonight, and we’re supposed to enjoy the afternoon with Naomi tomorrow afternoon. Then we’re all going out to dinner afterwards! COOL!

Sunday, we were supposed to have Rebekah’s best friend over to swim, but it looks like its going to be raining, so I’m not sure if it will work out.

I plan on taking the girls and going to Sunday school & church Sunday morning. We’ll see if I can find a class and meet some people. I am SO ready to get plugged back into a church! I miss the fellowship with the other ladies, and feeling like I belong somewhere. This last year has been difficult, but I am thankful that God kept me in Him during that time, and I didn’t fall away, as has been my performance in the past. If you haven’t found a church home yet, I’d encourage you to make it a matter of constant prayer and keep looking.

Natalie got up 2-3 times in the middle of the night, and I’m not really sure why. She wanted her diaper changed once, and some juice the other time. She wound up sleeping on the couch most of the night, and I wound up sleeping with her. At least she’s still small. Otherwise we couldn’t have both fit!

Oh! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KUDOS! to Jen. Her birthday is this weekend, I believe, so go sing her a song!
