2001-07-25 - 2:46 p.m. - We still need shrubs

Good Afternoon!

Hope all is going well.

The Christian Diarylander's ring is still growing. We're up to 158 people! I'm just TOO excited!

Rebekah must finally be caught up on her sleep. She got up at 6 a.m. this morning. It was actually kind of nice not to have to threaten her to get her to get out of bed. Natalie snoozed until DH went in and woke her up.

The Pampered Chef thing is going o.k. thus far. I've followed up with some people who have ordered in the past, and hope that they might still have things they want to buy. Also, there is at least one lady who said she'd have a party, but never did, and I'm trying to nail her down on a date.

DH has been doing a FABULOUS job with finishing his projects in the house! He bought a new kitchen sink & faucet last night to install. Once he gets the doors all put back on, (he's almost done) and puts the sink in, all we'll need to do is cleaning. And shrubs. I still haven't planted any shrubs out front. I'm about ready to just write it off and not worry about it. I guess I could call the Homeowner's association and agitate a bit. They are REALLY the people who are supposed to do it. I did them a favor by pulling out the old dead ones. For what we pay each month in dues, you'd think they could plant a couple of shrubs for me.

DH's birthday is coming up, as is my Mom's, Brother's, and my sister's was Monday. I'm not sure what the girls are going to get him. He's pretty hard to shop for (yes YOU ARE!), and I always get him something that he doesn't really wind up wanting. No matter how great I think it is.

*sigh* Oh, well.
