I got Natalie's hair cut. It's a little page-boy/bob style cut. I like it a lot, and hopefully, it will be easier to take care of. We went to some friends' house on Saturday night and the lady loves candels. Natalie went around blowing them all out and saying "Happy Birthday!". LOL! It was so funny. I'm glad she didn't try to touch them, also. I went a Pampered Chef training class yesterday, and am planning on signing all my paperwork tonight. I'm pretty excited about it all! They have WONDERFUL hostess specials/incentives, and pretty dandy incentives for Consultants, as well. I've also come to the conclusion that we need to try to get moved before Labor Day. I know! That's a huge goal. I've put it in God's hands, and I know that He will do what is best, but I am hopeful that He'll work it all out. DH has laughed at my style of prayer. He thinks that I boarder on believing in a "Drive-through" type God. But all through the Bible there are references to us having to ASK in order to get. I also believe that just because I ask, doesn't always mean that I will receive, but it does seem to have some part in increasing the odds. There is some theology here that is a fine line to walk, but I think most of you will understand what I mean. I think it all has to be balanced with the "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances" teachings of Paul. We can, and should ask God to give us the things that we need/want, but have to realize that He knows what is best for us, and we must be content in His hands, whatever the answer. Until next time.... |
